The Story Behind NF Jewellery

Hi, I’m Nicole, the maker behind NF Jewellery.

By profession, I work in finance. By passion, I create jewellery. I never imagined that jewellery would become such an important part of my life.

Working full-time in finance, I first discovered jewellery making as a creative escape outside work. What started as a way to unwind soon became a genuine passion. The more I learned, the more I realised there was always another technique to explore, another tool to master, and another story to create. Over the years, my small hobby has gradually grown into a fully equipped home studio and an ongoing journey of learning.

I’ve been fortunate to study a wide range of jewellery techniques across Europe and beyond, including filigree in both the UK and China, enamelling in the UK, pearl grading in Belgium, gemmology, wire wrapping, traditional metalsmithing, and many other specialised techniques. Each experience has shaped the way I approach design and craftsmanship, combining different traditions into my own creative style.

As my skills developed, I also discovered how rewarding it is to share this passion with others. Alongside creating handmade jewellery, I organise hands-on jewellery workshops where people can slow down, create something meaningful with their own hands, and experience the same sense of creativity and relaxation that first inspired me.
